Insanity... With A Pretty Face
MS. PERINO: Sure. In some cases, there are -- look, this is an issue where I'm sure lots of people would love to ridicule me when I say this, but it is true that many people die from cold-related deaths every winter. And there are studies that say that climate change in certain areas of the world would help those individuals.

60 Minutes
The 60 minutes interview on the Plame affair tonight was a rehash of known information. The most damning information was left out of the main story of the version I saw.
What is CBS afraid of? Did the football game require editing out the relevant new information re Iran and project Merlin?

Jesus Christ America!
Watch 60 minutes this Sunday. In light of the latest revelations about the position and important work re: Valerie Plame...this criminal government has to be held accountable.
Jesus... if Democrats had done this to a major clandestine CIA operation against Iran in a time of war, Republicans would have shut down government until there was a complete purge of all involved... including the president and vice president. Nancy Pelosi should be temporarily running the U.S government until an election can be organized.
The right have been screaming to do something to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, then Cheney shuts down the major operation to do just that, for petty political revenge...and there's no consequences, then there's a pardon for anyone involved in this treason? WTF America?

What Genocide?
No, everyone should face the reality of their actions past and present to hopefully forge a conviction for a better future.
Tori Amos Hey Jupiter Live
Sure, Tori is certifiable, believes in fairies etc...very eccentric.
Doesn't matter much when you have her talent and wonderful voice.
She's also cute when she forgets words to her song in rehearsal...

Who Do You Trust? Your Telecom Provider?
Bush needs immunity for all involved in the pervasive warrant less wiretapping program.
If they'll screw over and expose a CIA agent for revenge and flout the Geneva Convention on torture, how much concern is being shown for any other citizen's rights or privacy?
And how many millions of people are being spied upon? No one in an oversight role knows.
I would assume by now considering the lack pf resistance in Congress, that it's all of us. They can do whatever they want because they say so.

A Sexier Future
And pushing 60, the lovely Hillary. Not as sexy as her competition but more relevant is what difference will it make having women running the world?
Q hopes to find out sooner rather than later and of course the media conversation has to get over the initial sexy comparisons...except for the shallow Q and Undeniable Liberal of course.
We would reserve the right to be horndogs.
Miles davis et John Coltrane - So what
If one had to choose one American who contributed the most to culture, spirituality and genius, I'd pick John Coltrane. The fact that his path crossed with Miles Davis is the high point of American culture.
If one were picking influence more generally, it would be black musicians from the birth of the blues to the birth of the cool...

Kangaroo Court
The terrorists have won.
The only 'state secrets' that could have been revealed by a trial are that the biggest terrorists are still in the White House and they obviously control the decisions of the court.

Hubris on the Tigris
The new U.S. embassy in Iraq, the worlds largest and most expensive embassy...hey, how is that possible when they used slave labor?
$750 million for a death trap all Iraqis despise....only a Bushco project could be this corrupt, mismanaged and doomed to failure...

It's Not Murder In Iraq
Even when they claimed that a drunken employee who shot the guard of the vice president was disciplined ( a fine, how harsh for murder), the State Dept. made sure this fellow got back to work quickly.
You can even kill lots of Iraqis and still escape consequences.
Of course the solution is to allow the lying enabler to keep a close watch on these thugs.

Shhh...Nobody Can Know The Details
The terrorists also had no reason to know or to care that the U.S. government was or wasn’t getting wiretap approval from the secret court created by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They simply took for granted that their communications could be intercepted and acted accordingly."
