Living Up to His Name

General Betrayus, don't Petraeus. Deaths doubled in Iraq isn't deaths down 75%.
( the pic is 'erotic' and more lovely than anything new from the gung-ho shoot 10-20 innocent civilians for every prisoner of interest you take style occupation.)

Slippery Debate

If capital punishment were a deterrent to crime...Texas should be crime free by now?

In a rare gesture of compassion, Texas shows mercy to someone who was just the 19 year old get away driver in a murder incident. The death penalty is required in Texas if there's involvement in a crime where murder has taken place without actually killing anyone yourself !

The debate inevitably invokes old testament references by Christians , which is barbaric since the same passages may describe the treatment of slaves.
Isn't the command, ' thou shalt not kill ' simple enough to need no further interpretations?
Of course religion should have nothing to do with the debate.

Foot Tapping Good

The end of the singing senators? One can only hope, unless they want to sing in public washrooms.

The Surge Shall Set You Free

Long live the surge! I swear.
It was quickly heading for the dumpster because the objective was to buy time for the government to reconcile differences, come together and move forward with oil and lesser issues.
None of that is happening. In fact it couldn't get much worse politically and Iraqi deaths are doubling.
But fear not there is a resurrection of the never ending occupation. The surge is now being redefined as simply being a security effort or some such thing???
More to follow as the Misadministration continually redefines their failures to become imaginary successes.

Die Shwankung vor uns alle

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here. This is the war room."
The Pentagon is setting up a new war information room to rapidly get the White House spin out there. Wolf Blitzer will be tres jealous if the big board is bigger than the situation rooms!
Long live the surge! Victory is at hand. Purity of essence.

When the Sun Shines, Everyday is Caturday

News Whore

Somebody slap this idiot, right on the air in the situation room...Cafferty, would you do that for your loyal viewers?

Wolf's always like, " we have a hurricane, we hope I mean we expect that it will reach category 5 status, we hope I mean expect that it will come this way, the devastation will be terrible, maybe it will come right into the situation room... so I can have one big whore news orgasm."

Disgraced former congressional pervert and cool action figure Mark Foley may escape criminal charges for exchanging sexually explicit emails with pages, thanks to his computer records being protected as congressional working papers?
Who does the House think they are, the Catholic Church? Foley blamed his behaviour on sexual abuse by a clergyman.
Of course, Mark may voluntarily turn over the incriminating records but has chosen not to.
Republican values ...

Not For Lack Of Money

Exhibit 'A', collapsed dangerous infrastructure, not for lack of money.

Exhibit 'B', 282 million dollars U.S. , recently stolen from an Iraqi bank. The guards were able to load the ton of cash and drive away through many security checkpoints, unsearched along the way, making a suspiciously easy escape. The bank wasn't even suppose to have that much cash in it!

It seems like only in Iraq can a quarter billion dollars of taxpayers money disappear without causing any outrage, or millions in unmetered unaccounted for oil every month year in year out, or millions of missing weapons... of course, the U.S. can spend that much money on a bridge to nowhere in Alaska for political largess while the infrastructure hangs by an exhausted thread in the everyday real citizen world.

These misplaced priorities will continue because of political greed and arrogance until the next election, meanwhile the public and their very safety hang precariously by the fate of very bad government...the worst government seen in any one's lifetime.

The American Dream

Tres excitement! The biggest party princess of the unemployed Bush miscreants is getting married.

Whoppieshit comes to mind!!!

Future hubby was an intern of Karl Rove. That answers any questions about his character or complete lack of.

And torture me Elmo? Defective, toxic and likely recalled from the efforts of an underpaid, abused, unhealthy Chinese worker from a country with a trillion dollars of Uncle Sam debt and bonds hanging over the U.S. like the sword of Damocles.

Here's to the American daddy supplied dream of unearned wealth and privilege.

Surgin Suckcessitude

Well...maybe with 500.000 more troops, and a few bombing runs into Cambodia...say in about 10 years there may be victory in Iraq.
Between people fleeing Bush's hell hole and those dying in it, there should be less Iraqis than troops by then...and then it's game over for these terrorists.

In the's bullshit all the way, like General Betrayus's September scourge report that's now to be written by the White House!

Should have impeached these crazies 3 years ago.

Of course, labelling Iran's military a terrorist group should help calm down the region and expand the way to level headed diplomacy. That should get their phones tapped too. Those surveillance guys will be busy.

Revolutionary Guard? That sounds kind of commie? Wonder if they do cheap manufacturing?

Daily Yuks and Ms. Witherspoon

She just seems to have dropped in from nowhere. I hope she hates Bush.

"Still, many Democrats are increasingly taking the position, in televised debates and in sessions with voters across the country, that ending a war can be as complicated as starting one. "
But don't worry Bush & Company. There doesn't appear to be any likelihood that lying the country into an unnecessary war for personal gain will become a legal issue or the compound in Paraguay was probably unnecessary.
Who would have thunk this turn of events. especially after the nation witnessed an impeachment over.... consensual foreplay? Incredible times.

Enhanced Post 911 War Criminal Techniques

Who are we suppose to believe, George Bullshit or the Red Cross in their report on interrogation techniques used at Guantanamo?

“One of the sources said that the Red Cross described the agency’s detention and interrogation methods as tantamount to torture, and declared that American officials responsible for the abusive treatment could have committed serious crimes,” Mayer writes. This includes “grave breaches” of the Geneva Conventions, and violation of the U.S. Torture Act of 1994.

During his invasion of Iraq, George W. Bush warned Iraqis about their treatment of American prisoners of war on 23 March 2003: “I expect them to be treated, the POWs, I expect to be treated humanely, just like we’re treating the prisoners that we have captured humanely. If not, the people who mistreat the prisoners will be treated as war criminals."

Bravo Assclowns

One day they're offering resolutions to censure Bush's warrantless surveillance programs...this is an official record of protest I guess for the law breaking?

Then, the next day it's voting to allow Bush to rewrite the FISA laws to allow expanded warrantless wiretapping...and the best news for those that love irony... the new authority to authorize the surveillance is disgraced serial liar and Bush sycophant crony, Alberto Gonzales.

I hope the first suckers Gonzo listens in on are Nancy and Harry...stupid bastards asked for it.

"There's So Many Good Stories"

It's comforting when the first lady of the worst disaster of a leader in history arrives at a disaster scene.

Yes, all good stories she says. There's nothing tragic about ignored infrastructure collapsing on innocent people.
A country with crumbling infrastructure and poor health coverage but can spend a trillion dollars destroying a country for control of it's oil resources...a country that was harmless, with no involvement in 911 or terrorism until after the occupation...well..nothing but good stories.

What could a trillion dollars do for infrastructure, health care, global warming...

Stay home and pack your bags for Paraguay.

Criminal Suffering

It's hot everywhere in Canada but it's not 117-120f everyday like Iraq. People have been without water for six days as there isn't enough electricity to run the pumps and water filtration equipment.
People in Baghdad have been without water for 24 hours and are letting their kids drink filthy water and get sick.
Saddam was a shitty dictator but people didn't suffer like they do under Bush. Millions have fled the country.
An incredible amount of suffering, nearly 1 million dead and all because Bush and his cohorts want control of their oil.
