Changing Winds

The former Peruvian President was sentenced today to 25 more years to go along with his previous sentence.
He is charged with abuse of power, illegal wiretapping, corruption, kidnapping and torturing his opponents...

Amnesty international is pleased,

"It is not every day when a former head of state is convicted for human rights violations such as torture, kidnapping and enforced disappearances.

"We hope that it is just the first of many trials in both Latin America and throughout the world."

His crimes were very similar to the Bush administration's but much smaller in scope and no one openly confessed their crimes as has already happened with the Bush administration from Cheney down.

In a related development, Spanish prosecutors are going ahead with charges against Gonzales and 5 other high ranking Bush administration lawyers and officials, charged with torture at Guantanamo.

America continues to be paralyzed to the reality that must be resolved, a national cognitive dissonance.

The Rachel Maddow Show: Insani-Tea: Conservatives Rally Around "Teabagging"

Teabagging, which is slang for an exotic sexual activity, seems to elude those on the right using it, to the the dismay of those on the left who are having much subliminal fun with this joke...

Wassila Family Values

Maybe Sarah should accept all of her federal stimulus money. She doesn't want the part for social services which would be seen as social engineering I guess versus the good Christian family values that are doing so well back home?

Meanwhile it's same old same old around Wassila, Palin's sister in law is arrested for repeatedly breaking into homes to steal money, one would think for a drug habit and Levi is on the air waves explaining why abstinence doesn't work with young people, like with Mrs. Palin's knocked up brood, who aren't allowed to hear about any of that godless liberal sex education crap.

George Galloway 2009-03-20 - Channel 4 News

If British MP Galloway was a terrorist, why is he allowed in every country but Canada? Why is he still an elected MP in Britain?

Because he isn't.

Because our government is a world class embarrassment of religious right neocon bullshit.

They put anti science creationists in charge of science portfolios and ban people like Galloway for sending humanitarian aid to elected governments as an excuse to keep out an effective anti war critic that they don't want influencing Canadians...otherwise known as banning free speech.

Give Us A Break

All I can say is heh, humph, hkkttt.... pitouie...

It would be worth reading if it contained anything truthful...but how could he possibly tell the truth when it would send him directly to prison or the Hague?

Caturday Sonnet

Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

Enough Bullshit Cramer

Ok Cramer.
You wimped out like a wounded puppy on the Daily Show where Jon Stewart exposed all that's wrong with Wall Street reporting on CNBC, you shook hands as a gentleman, you agreed with Stewart's evisceration of Mad Money's excesses and you agreed to reform yourself and purge dishonesty on your show......so do it...... or else...watch the ratings drop further !
