Sorry Hamid, only Republicans can steal elections and get away with it.It is ironic that the most backward corrupt nation on earth has to now set the highest democratic standards to get continued support from the U.S.
Run off again, share power or die. I wish someone made that demand to Bush in 2000.
It is obvious that Afghanistan can`t succeed on it's own without a popular, trusted, progressive government.
And we could really use one of those too while we're at it.

Haha, I like the title, it made me laugh - must be more loved than Stephen Harper. Anyway, I guess if a non-democratic country wants to change, it really does need pressure and help from outside. Partly it's good that the US gives Afghanistan conditions(thus some kind of inspiration). On the other hand, how is it supposed to change without help?
