So the chairman and 4 others at Hewlett Packard are charged with spying. Where did they get the idea it was acceptable to spy on employee phone records to catch a boardroom leaker?

Yes, where could they have possibly gotten that idea? Say goodbye to America, say hello to Amerika.
It's like a parent saying do as I say not as I do. HP should have asked Bush for the phone log info in return for a big campaign donation.
I hope they do not spy on their customers too. What a deadly combination it will be between Bush and HP. Big Brother takes over. Imagine a chip in your computer which records everything you do on computer and sends it to big Cheney or somewhere there.
