Not crazy. Pat Robertson is crazy. Bush is just evil. I've had this all wrong. It makes no sense to surge more troops in Iraq when it will only kill more Iraqis and more Americans.
Pretty well everyone agrees about that..so...
Because that makes no sense I've assumed he's gone nuts or something. I'm not cynical enough to recognise his motivation. He probably does realize that Iraq is lost but refuses to take the loss himself.
But if he keeps the war escalating on the ground, the troops will be stuck there thru 2008, long enough for the next president to be the one to bring them home. That makes Bush not a winner in Iraq, but not a loser, not the one who quit by bringing the troops out. Perhaps a profoundly important distinction to this man's ego. He may be a true sociopath.
As Robert Parry calls it, it's operation save Bush's legacy.
He's that selfish.

That's all it's about, Georgie's legacy. Georgie doesn't want to be remembered as the assclown who completely destroyed a country ... at one point Iraq was one of the wealthiest countries in the middle east, now it's a failed state.
As much as I make a lot of noise about how georgie's lost it, he hasn't totally lost it. He's not crazy. He's a psychopath for sure -- no guilt -- but not a psychotic. And he really is a dumb as he comes across.
Makes the stolen election of 2000 all the more painful.
Sometimes there is nothing left to say.U say it all very well.V
Thanx V.
Just 1 person's reaction and perspective to news of the day that pisses one off.
There's over 100 million blogs out here, mostly private journals, I got into the political ones because there isn't enough news detail and perspectives in the main stream media.
The links on the right are some of the blogs and specialized news sources I usually see every day.
The great thing is you can comment in most, although most people looking thru blogs don't comment.
