I appreciate the musician's musician past and present. People who influence music without a lot of fame themselves.
Stanley Clarke in the mid 70's took the bass guitar from a background instrument to the solo front by making it fun and cool with his thumb slap and percussive style.
Steve Gadd is another name that no one knows but everyone's heard, being the most recorded studio drummer of all time. Together they produce a wonderful tight and funky groove. If your speakers are good crank it up. if not...get better ones. muahahaha
