Jeff Beck - Beck's Bolero

The 1968 'Truth' album is one of my favorites. Beck has always been one of my few very favorite players.
So this guy still tours constantly, he's 63 years young and looks great.

And the Japanese kids seem to love him too.

Bush's new World Bank pick, Robert Zoellick.

Looks too dorky to have a girlfriend at least. Wait a did Paul Wolfowitz .

I guess we can only hope he doesn't lick his comb like Wolfowitz.

Miss Universe 2007 - USA's Rachel Smith Booed by Mexicans

Miss U.S.A. is massively booed and heckled in Mexico.

Why isn't she greeted with sweets and flowers?
Of course, all of this will be edited out for the U.S. airing, the boos replaced with warm cheers for the Empire.

Miss Universe 2007 - Miss USA Rachel Smith Falls down

Miss U.S.A. falls on her ass. Symbolic?

The Blowback President

Will we ever hear the end of this White House 'stupidism', "We're fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here".

Most of who the U.S. is fighting are just Iraqis. They want the U.S. out of their country overwhelmingly. Nothing more than that.

Why would they need to come over here when the U.S. leaves, since that's what they want us to do?

If it's only Al Qaeda that the White House is talking about, they will go where ever U.S. troops go. That's been proven in Iraq since they weren't there before the invasion.

But they are not the same people who were angry at American foreign policy before 911. They are a new generation, bigger numbers, much better trained and much more angry at U.S. foreign policy since 911.

And there are so many new terrorists that they can now export them out of Iraq to other countries. What a shocking indication of total policy failure. An overwhelming case for how not to fight terrorism.

This is the gift Bush is leaving the Democrats and the nation. No wonder he bought land and built a secure compound in Paraguay.

History Meets The Flinstones

Only 2 more days to plan your family visit to the Creation Museum.

If you can't make the grand opening, please drop by the web site, for you know, all of your answers can be found in Genesis.

Land of the free, or land of the stupid. What harm is there in spending $27million dollars to build a 60,000 sq. ft. theme park to convince people that the earth is only 6000 years old and therefor man and dinosaurs roamed the earth together?

Well at least it's located in remote Kentucky, the only state where marrying your cousin is mandatory under the law. What's wrong with this in a country where 1 in 3 believe that the bible is the literal word of God? Can't science survive this assault? Can't the rest of the world tolerate these humorous idiosyncrasies?

Is it a coincidence that in 2002 most Americans thought Iraq was behind 911? And only a portion of those have since educated themselves.

Is it a coincidence that America has voted twice for an illiterate, charismatic,God fearing President who has lied his country into the greatest military blunder of their history and taken away their fundamental rights that the country was founded on. Even the right not to be grabbed by the government and be held and tortured indefinitely without a lawyer or trial or even charges?

Believing the bible is about fear. Fear of punishment. Bush has proven, like the Nazis, that a nation will do anything unintelligent if they are afraid.

Why else would someone believe things that are unproven versus beliefs that are provable?

The images are either cute and harmless or an assault on reason that's proven to lead to disaster for those who don't share the same views.

Does anyone really believe that Jesus rode on dinosaurs and that the bible forgot to mention them roaming around getting in the way of sermons, eating all of the loaves and fishes that Jesus had to produce to make people believe that he was God? Really?

Or when T-Rex was stepping on your house did people run out and laugh and say naughty dinosaur, shoo?

Separation of religious beliefs from scientific beliefs is separation of Church and State.

And yes, Saddam was 10 feet tall and flew each of the planes himself on 911( and it's not about oil) and if we keep fighting forever everyone who disagrees, they will all be dead and surrender and the U.S. will be the winner at invading countries that were never a threat to them and the baby Jesus will at last be happy. It's true. You have to believe me on faith though.

Dennis Chambers

2 minutes with Q's favorite drummer, Dennis Chambers, helps reduce the tension of realizing that the money wasted losing the war on terror could have gone to winning the war long term or reducing world emmissions or any worthwhile progressive minded project.

Democat Pussy Friday

Chi Chi is so pissed with recent Democrat lame ass threats to Bush's personal war that she's taken to mocking them constantly.
And why not? The only reason given for the surge 3 months ago was to reduce violence...and that's failing, again predictably.
The strategy for the pussy dems is obviously to wait out King George's term , sure he's taking the rap for the greatest blunder in their history but morally, ethically,compassionately...don't they feel like enablers in the pointless deaths of thousands?

Stanley Clarke / Steve Gadd - My Greatest Hits

I appreciate the musician's musician past and present. People who influence music without a lot of fame themselves.
Stanley Clarke in the mid 70's took the bass guitar from a background instrument to the solo front by making it fun and cool with his thumb slap and percussive style.
Steve Gadd is another name that no one knows but everyone's heard, being the most recorded studio drummer of all time. Together they produce a wonderful tight and funky groove. If your speakers are good crank it up. if not...get better ones. muahahaha

Hubris On The Tigris

Build an embassy the size of the Vatican in a country that hates you and....

Great line from an Iraq expert,

"A fortress-style embassy, with a huge staff, will remain in Baghdad until helicopters come to airlift the last man and woman from the roof," he said, adding his own advice to the architects of the building: "Include a large roof."

They're actually bragging that it has bomb proof walls but...... so were the Humvees.

It means you go home brain dead not in a body bag.

' "Everyone ran into the hallways and were clapping and hugging each other," one employee, who declined to be named, said. '
Muahahahaha.....reaction among World Bank employees hearing the news that he's out of there by June 30.

And someone gets the dirt on why his girl friend had to make more money than Condi who's only the Secretary of State after all....what a bunch of corrupt clowns...but Clinton got a blowjob!

Purrrrfect Friday

Charlotte (aka chi chi) prefers the kid's rooms since they have cool cat stuff like fuzzy warm Batman blankets.
Wake me up...oh...let's say...Caturday.

Wolfie, A True Bush Man

I'm not sure if this is a recent pic of Paul Wolfowitz and his girl friend Shaha...

To recap, this Bush psycho was the deputy secretary of defense who led the charge in Iraq having promised that it wouldn't cost much at all as their oil revenues would pay for most of the war etc. etc.

Bush was so impressed with his money skills even half a trillion dollars in the red later, that he sent him to run the World Bank.

Wolfie also believed that a connection existed between Saddam and the first world trade center bombing and the Oklahoma bombing as well likening comparisons to Dr. Strangelove.

Now he's being fired for the petty crime of breaking bank rules and violating his contract by giving too much money and status to his 'girlfriend.' If it wasn't white collar crime's called stealing.

Ironically, he's been bashing African nations for their corruption and nepotism.

I can see the bank's board of directors view on this image problem, " ..he's had a dramatic negative effect on the reputation and credibility of the bank".

But to verify his 'Bush crony worth', it's now being revealed that during the meeting where he was told he'd be exposed, Wolfie threatened the governing board in a four letter word tirade.

For example, "If they fuck with me or Shaha, I have enough on them to fuck them too."

A true Bush man. A crony, corrupt, incompetent, the mafia threat tactics. Check, check and double check. He's a Bush inside 'made guy'.

The world is a little more tolerant today.
And to any other holier than thou, sanctimonious, evangelical fascist who leaves us.......good riddance too.

Arrogant Asshats

How sweet!

Condi ( Kindasleezy) Rice has been calling foreign ministers to twist their arms in support of sleazeball crook Paul Wolfowitz. She didn't want Georgie to be his only other supporter now that Wolfowitz is exposed as a corrupt scumbag.

No, she has 'personal high regard for him and the work he's doing at the World Bank.'

Sure, and how would she know what kind of a job he's doing there or is stealing money from the bank for your main squeeze doing a heckofa job! Or I guess neocons call it circumventing the rules to get what they want. Like Wolfowitz lying and circumventing America into an illegal immoral war?

Sure, let's put the guy who said the Iraq war would pay for itself in charge of the World Bank where he can treat it like his own little piggy bank and bring neocon values to who gets a loan in the third world.

Anonymous Face

This sweet kid from Iowa was one of the soldiers killed last week in Iraq. Only 19 years old. I have 3 daughters near her age.
It's hard to see the real faces of people who are victims of an immoral invasion and occupation. It makes each death a crime against humanity when you've accepted the truth about Iraq, that it was always wrong and unnecessary to go there.
What is the point of sending kids now 5 years later to drive up and down roads laced with IEDs, playing Russian roulette with their lives if there's no justifiable reason to be there? That's how she died. Many more will return with brain damage from the same fate. It will continue till Bush leaves office and then it will stop and people will say why didn't we stop this years ago? This was crazy and wrong. Why didn't someone stop this?
An evil waste of human lives one face at a time that isn't being stopped for political reasons only.
It is madness and unbearably cruel.
