This sweet kid from Iowa was one of the soldiers killed last week in Iraq. Only 19 years old. I have 3 daughters near her age.
It's hard to see the real faces of people who are victims of an immoral invasion and occupation. It makes each death a crime against humanity when you've accepted the truth about Iraq, that it was always wrong and unnecessary to go there.
What is the point of sending kids now 5 years later to drive up and down roads laced with IEDs, playing Russian roulette with their lives if there's no justifiable reason to be there? That's how she died. Many more will return with brain damage from the same fate. It will continue till Bush leaves office and then it will stop and people will say why didn't we stop this years ago? This was crazy and wrong. Why didn't someone stop this?
An evil waste of human lives one face at a time that isn't being stopped for political reasons only.
It is madness and unbearably cruel.

To paraphrase John Kerry, "How do you ask someone to be the last person to die for white house VANITY?"
