Edging Toward The Door

As Iraq spirals into a total hell, Americans are debating what to do and who to blame.

The latest trend is to blame Iraqis.

"We can not save the Iraqis from themselves"

"We all want them to succeed..."

"If the Iraqis are determined to destroy themselves and their country, I don't know how in the world we're going to stop them..."

It's enough to make you want to stop being the world's most super favorite humanitarian superpower of love and good intentions people.

I'm sure Maliki's thinking, with superpower friends like the U.S., who needs enemies?

Poor Maliki, I almost feel sorry for the guy. He's got Georgie following him around, pulling his strings, "Do you want to take more questions?" as if the guy's a total moron. Really, I bet he can't wait til the US leaves and he can cozy up to Ahmadinejad.
