The Don

Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has a reputation to maintain. In all of his complicated high profile cases, he's always gone after the master mind, the king pin behind every crime, never the little guys. That person is established early in the investigation.

That person is not Scooter Libby.

The experts have suspected and are now fairly sure that a conviction of Libby is necessary for the next phase of the investigation, not the end of the investigation.

And if Fitz brings down Cheney...there's some explaining to be done.

As in what did the President know and when did he know it?

OK? ( The okay is a cute little Rossism of course)

Sheesh.

Now I'm flingin' 'isms'.

Which, I suppose is warranted, now that I'm givin Jim Bobby ideas for new tunes......

______
and hasn't that FDL coverage been fantastic - I mean, it's like HST on speed dial (without the speed of course)

As long as they're good 'isms'

FDL has been great.

Yeah, FDL has had better coverage than anyone, MSM included. They've been doing great.

This book I just finished, "Hubris", goes into the Plame like a lot and it sure looks like Rove & Cheney are the 2 guilty parties. Bastards.

Seriously, if it ends with Scooter, this will go against everything Patrick has stood for up till now as a prosecutor.

Hard to say what will happen. I guess the jury's still out? But scooter will appeal if found guilty, and then the real shit might hit the fan. I'd love to see Darth Cheney in the box.
